THE ADVANTAGE OF CONSCIOUS QUALITY RATING.
We can choose a quality rating for our experience of life events on a scale of 1-100%
This helps us be more conscious of the way we are experiencing all the aspects and events of our lives. This can help us identify our habitual ways of thinking and behaving - which can lead to us consciously changing outmoded and habitual responses to life and consciously choosing fresh responses from the vast spectrum of choices available to everyone.
For example, a friend comes over for supper. On a spectrum from horrific to divine, then we may well choose to rate this event as "Very special." On the other hand, going to the hospital for an operation we may well choose to rate as "horrible." (although crucial and essential for our life).
In this way, we become more conscious of the events of our lives and, just as importantly, to our ATTITUDES AND RESPONSES to them.
A SCALE OF QUALITY RATING.
Here is an example of a "quality rating scale" - I am sure you can add to and improve it to suit your own contentment. Starting with "the tops" (Godly, divine, good, and pleasant) and working downwards "to the pits" (unpleasant, horrible, nasty):
