PRINCIPLES AND VALUES
THE PROCESS OF CIVILIZATION.
As we live life, as we experience many different perspectives and views about life, as we realize the diversity of the individual and the variety that we call "Life", then eventually we will realize the importance of creating and maintaining our own set of behavioral standards, principles, and values.
Our value system helps us to navigate life's challenges. Principles help us with our choices and decisions. Without principles and values then we are lost in an ocean of confusion, hopelessness, and degeneration towards delinquency, chaos, and vice.
We cannot sustain virtues without values.
Having values will change the world, that should not be your intent, but they will help you manage your own life and perhaps influence others. Changing the world and influences others should not be your intent. We should adopt standards and principles because we value them for what they are and what they mean to us.
Using the seven center model, we can easily learn how to relate to each center in a healthy and balanced way.
Standards and principles should be based upon holistic health, consideration of others, and balance.
